High-flow, high-capacity in-line filter use pleated stainless mesh elements of the same design as System 1 filters, only with 30 micron configuration., Ends are machined for -6AN through -12AN fittings.
Aluminum two-bolt flat mount has a 1" diameter, -12AN inlet nipple to accept System 1 oil filters, -12AN inlet/outlet fittings are included.
Cast oil pumps are adjustable from75-125 PSI. Pumps are factory pre-set at 80 PSI and include unique oil bypass anti-aeration diffusion screen for maximum efficiency. Pumps accept stock big block Chevy pickups.
Two piece ribbed aluminum filter housing contains a reusable, stainless steel mesh screen element sealed with double 0-rings. Filter has a 1" diameter-12 threaded inlet and is supplied with 2 adapters; a 3/4"-16 to fit Ford or Chrysler and a 13/16"-16 for Chevrolet. A built in high flow bypass keeps maximum efficiency to 5 microns before activation. Independent tests have shown the System 1 Filter to be six times less restrictive than paper filters.
Attractive, comfortable crew shirts with contrasting fabric, piping and breathable mesh side panels are made from 65% polyester/35% cotton and embroidered with the Simpson logo. Color choices are blue, gray or red.
